How big is Lila? Soooo big!

9 months old and weighing in at 20lb, 2oz (75%) and 28 3/4 in tall (90%)! A quick update for those of you who haven't seen her for a while... Lila has picked up a lot of new tricks in the past month or two. She is crawling, standing, beginning to cruise - the kid can move! She is waving, kissing, spinning on her bottom like a top and balancing on her bottom like who knows what. She LOVES to read books, sing songs, and to watch other kids and animals. She is becoming more open to foods other than cheerios (blueberries are the new favorite). You can't wipe the smile off her face. Life is good.

Round 1 Goes to Oscar

Oscar and Lila are best buddies, but sometimes even the best of friends don't agree. Below is a picture of some of their best times. She can be gentle and sweet. She can also be grabby and mean. She goes for the ears and tail a lot.
Oscar and Lila's first bout ended a round 1 technical knockout. Oscar started the fight virtually unprovoked and ended it quickly. Mom threw in towel early on. Lila is doing fine and looking for payback!

How to Crawl

Now that Lila is an expert crawler she is in the process of making a baby how to video on crawling. This entitled, "Step One: Perfect Crawling Position." It will also be step one in her how to do a baby push-ups video to follow later.
